Stephan Kurr, Berlin, Germany
back
During the 20th and 30th several members of my family had to leave Germany.
3 girls went to London, because their village was to musty, 3 brothers had to leave to Brasil,
because there was no work and the parents were to poor to maintain them, my grandmothers
first love were sent back to Prague, because he wasn´t german and the grandparents went to Spain,
just to stay far away enough from the Nazi-Regime.
I grew up partly in Spain and partly Germany, because my parents didn´t understand.
I became artist and crossing borders became my job.
